Each year the Junior League of Racine will honor at least one graduating Racine County high school female who has demonstrated a commitment to voluntarism through our scholarship program. The Junior League of Racine is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. By publicly recognizing and rewarding excellent volunteers, the Junior League applauds voluntarism in the community and hopes to encourage other young women to become committed to volunteering. The scholarship applications are judged on voluntarism in the community and will not be based on financial need. Applicants must plan to attend a four year accredited college or university, have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better and be a Racine County high school student. Scholarship applications and guidelines are available on the Junior League of Racine web site.
